And now for something completely different...
So now I know where Sondheim got the idea for ‘Epiphany’ from… it’s right there, in the original text, probably continued throughout the later versions.
‘They shall die,’ said Sweeney Todd, ‘dead men tell no tales, nor women nor boys either, and they shall all die, after which there will, I think, be a serious fire in Fleet-Street. Ha! Ha!’ – The String of Pearls
So, an episode of cold-blooded thought retold in pen and ink… with, eheheh, added splats because I can’t help myself. Darker? Yeeeesss… XD

This is a fun piece with very intriguing textures - really captivating - in a messy, disjointed puzzle sort of way. The splatters emphasize the expression and mood. I really like how it came out! Though I must admit, at first I thought he was holding a spatula...
